I don't mean to make light of a tragic situation, but here's an illustration of the importance of punctuation! They mean "Swiss tourist gang-raped in India."
(Unless Swiss tourists form gangs and an Indian or Indians raped every member of one. That would lead to a particularly depressing re-make of West Side Story.)
