It's actually from The Onion. In case you're not into fantasy fiction, George R.R. Martin is the guy who wrote the book version of "Game of Thrones" (and is still writing the later books in the epic series, which is called "A Song of Fire and Ice").
(Sunday's episode was grisly, and many fans of the TV series have expressed their shock and disapproval, although fans of the books had to have known what was coming. I certainly did. The TV series made some details worse than they were in the book, but I'll tell you that some of the uglier details are yet to emerge.)
