New Movies In Theaters July 31 and August 2 - Rotten Tomatoes

The Smurfs 2 opened Wednesday in about 3900 theaters. 14% positive reviews. (C'mon, man, it's the smurfin' Smurfs. You were expecting it to be up there with The Godfather?)

2 Guns opens Friday in about 3000. This is a crime thriller starring Denzel and Marky Mark. It's rated R for (among many things) brief nudity from Paula Patton. The critics are leaning kinda positive (60% of their chubby little popcorn-stained thumbs have been up).

The box office should be pretty close to a three-way tie between those two films and Wolvie. Any one of the three might take the weekend.
