The big news, of course, is that #4 Stanford dropped completely out of the national title picture with their second loss of the season, each of which came to an unranked team. That will get Oregon back into the top 5 nationally, and back up to the top of the Pac 12 North.
No other team in the top 22 lost.
23-24-25 all lost, but two of those losses were to teams with better rankings and, besides, who cares?
The only other surprise came when #17 UCF almost lost to lowly Temple, which is 1-9, including a loss to a non-BCS team. UCF won on a field goal with 0:00 on the clock. Temple was up by seven with two minutes to play, but UCF pulled off a miraculous Hail Mary pass to tie it up, and Temple could not kill the last 1:06, allowing UCF to set up a final field goal.
