Nick Foles of Philadelphia Eagles has record day against Oakland Raiders

Foles, 24, who began the season as a backup QB and looks like a very large high school sophomore, was not considered a likely candidate to attack some of the game's hallowed records.

But he did.

1. He tied the NFL record of 7 TD passes in a game. (He did that with 20 minutes left on the clock!)

2. He's the only QB to pass for that many TDs in a game with a perfect QB rating of 158.3. Manning (2003) and Brady (2007) have each had 6 TDs in "perfect" games.

3. He became only the second QB in NFL history to pass for more than 400 yards in a game with a perfect QB rating of 158.3. He is the only active QB to perform the feat. (The only other such game happened in 1986.)
