Pollution pushes Shanghai towards semen crisis

Pollution pushes Shanghai towards semen crisis
"Shanghai’s semen is facing an unprecedented crisis with experts labelling pollution as one of the 'major culprits' for the mega-city’s increasingly dismal sperm quality."

Oh, look, you all know that I am jaded and cynical, so take this for what it's worth, but it just seems to me that widespread male infertility is not a bad thing for China. In fact, they might consider relaxing their pollution control standards as a means of population control.

Or rather, that would be a good idea if, in fact, they actually had any pollution control standards.
