A Map That Reveals the Most Popular TV Show Set in Your Home State

A Map That Reveals the Most Popular TV Show Set in Your Home State
"No matter what state in the U.S. you live in, a popular TV show has taken place there."

Even North Dakota!

By the way, Twin Peaks was originally called Northwest Passage, and was to take place in North Dakota, but the concept was changed before the show ever aired.

Perhaps the most obscure show on the list is the West Virginia entry, something called "Hawkins," which aired only seven episodes in 1973-74. I don't remember it at all despite the fact that it starred an A-list movie star (Jimmy Stewart), but as far as I can determine it is the only scripted TV series ever located in West Virginia. (Two reality shows have taken place in that state.)
