France creates its own word for 'sexting'

Well, that settles it. Scrap those English and Mandarin lessons. Once again, French is the international language of diplomacy.

"Textopornographie" is the official neologism, as dictated by the Academy. "The 40-member government body controlling French grammar, usage and vocabulary was founded in 1635 according to Motherboard. Members of the Académie continue to wear a Napoleonic costume, complete with a sword and bicorne hat."

The sword is apparently used to intimidate typical French speakers from uttering the word "sextos," which seems to be the word actually used by those few French people who are not wearing funny Napoleonic hats.
