Teacher placed on leave in 'revenge porn' case

A teacher at a Cincinnati-area Christian school has been placed on paid leave after a nude photo of her surfaced on the Internet.

I don't get it. The school admits that the photos were made available without her knowledge or consent. How can they have the legal right to punish her in any way? I know that paid leave is essentially just a vacation, but I'll bet it doesn't seem that way to her right now.
