UPI misspelled "Sweden's Surstomming Academy." It would be spelled Surstromming, with an additional "r." In the Swedish alphabet it would be written Surströmming with an umlaut over the o. Setting that aside for a bit, let us consider what it is:

Surströmming is fermented Baltic herring. Where else but Scandinavia would there be an academy dedicated to such a thing? Oh, it's real. Here is their home page.
