Yup, the government had to defend them new-fangled computers, arms of Big Brother, servants of Darwin, enablers of perverted sex, incorrect calculators of the age of the universe. Man was meant to do arithmetic with a pencil and the Bible. Satan himself placed computers upon the planet, right around the same time he sprinkled the land with fossils.
You might laugh in scorn, but I have a sister who has never used a computer in her life, and her reasons are not much different from what I have written above.
