White Castle is overrated? If I had to guess its rating from 1 to 100, I would have guessed about 10.

Lower from me. I've never eaten anything from White Castle unless everything else was closed. The WC near the Bronx zoo was open 24 hours, which was amazing in the Bronx in the 1960s, so I occasionally ate something from there during all-night poker games, but I've never eaten inside. One guy would have to run out, usually based on a draw of cards. For seven guys, the order would be something like 80 burgers and seven shakes, and that would still only cost about ten-twelve bucks. As I recall, the shakes were not entirely awful, which is more than I can say for the burgers.

Then or now, I've never heard anybody say a single good thing about White Castle without qualifying it.

So are they saying that universal loathing is too high a rating?
