Julianne Moore wowed them at Cannes in Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars. Her role included lots of depravity and some nudity. Reese Witherspoon is expected to be nominated for Wild, and she did a boatload of nudity in that role.

Will we get two Oscar nominees who did naked, R-rated roles?

Well, kinda. Julianne is expected to get nominated, but it might not be for Maps to the Stars.

Her performance in Still Alice dazzled them in Toronto, so assuming she gets a nomination, it would probably be for Still Alice, which is a prestige drama, which the academy is likely to prefer over Maps to the Stars, which seems like a hand-wringing drama on the surface, but is actually a rather perverse black comedy.
