Weekend Box Office Results for January 30-February 1, 2015

American Sniper easily pulled off the three-peat by grossing more than the next four films added together. This week's additional $30+ million brings Eastwood's film to about $250M to date.

None of the new releases made it to double figures:

Project Almanac pulled in $8.5M and may finish in second place when the exact grosses are tallied.

Black or White grossed $6.4 million with a decent average per theater.

The Loft was a total embarrassment. It grossed only $2.8 million, despite appearing in more than 1800 theaters. It pulled in about the same per theater (approx $1500) as January's other big bombs from the previous two weekends, Mortdecai and Blackhat.
