Get this: his birth name was Jewel Guy.
The Everly Brothers were his first cousins. (His mom and their dad were siblings.)
He appeared in an episode of The Twilight Zone with Lee Marvin and Lee Van Cleef.
You might not guess it, but he was quite the dreamboat when he was a young man.
