Nepal: another major earthquake (7.3)
Just what Nepal needed: another major earthquake (7.3)
With a terrifying photograph of a city street in Kathmandu.
"According to the USGS, the quake’s epicenter was about 50 miles east of the capital in Kathmandu, near the China border. (The epicenter of the quake that hit the country April 25 was about 50 miles west of the capital.)"
One commenter: "They are really having some bad luck. The US Geological Survey gave Nepal a 1 in 200 chance of having another earthquake this week magnitude 7-7.9."
Another commenter: "These poor people can't catch a break. And here I am complaining that it's 40 degrees in May."
