Most Liberal: San Francisco. No surprise, I suppose, although I would have guessed Cambridge and Berkeley. Mitt Romney got only 4.6% of the vote in Berkeley, and 11.1% in Cambridge. I guess they weren't large enough cities to qualify for the list.
I was surprised to see Buffalo on the list and Austin off. Austin went for Obama 60-36 over Romney, compared to 57-41 for Buffalo. As an upstate guy, I never thought of Erie County as a particular bastion of liberalism. In fact, Buffalo had the lowest percentage for Obama among the three biggest cities in upstate (Rochester 58, Syracuse 60)
Most Conservative: Mesa, Arizona. Beats me. I don't know jack about Mesa.
