5 Entertainers Who Sucked For Years (But Don't Anymore) | Cracked.com

Pretty much straight-out wrong about everything.

Matthew McConaughey was almost always excellent, from his brilliant character in Dazed and Confused until now. Yes, he made romantic comedies to pay the bills, but even in those he did as well as anyone ever has. He was a believable, masculine character who delivered the dialogue naturally. You think it's easy to do rom-coms and maintain credibility? You think it's a breeze to deliver that dialogue without sounding stiff and/or artificial? It's not. Not everyone can do rom-coms. If you don't believe me, watch Rob Lowe in "About Last Night ...". OK, maybe that's a bad example because he sucks in just about every genre. Better example: check out the usually great Richard Harris in "Caprice." You'll be looking away in embarrassment.
