The Saints have been uninspiring, and Brees has been down a bit from his old self until this game. This one was tremendous. He was 40 for 50 for 511 yards and 7 TDs. He was never sacked while completing passes to ten different receivers. 7 TDs ties the NFL record, and 511 yards is #10 of all time.
And even with that, the Saints barely escaped with a 52-49 win on a last second field goal, making the final score look like a Big 12 game. 101 points for both teams is the third-highest total in NFL history
