For a while back in the 60s, Surrealistic Pillow was my favorite album. They were best known as hard-driving acid rockers (Somebody to Love and White Rabbit are both on that album) with lead vocals by Grace Slick, but they wrote some beautiful, slow, folk-rock songs with lead vocals by Marty Balin, two of which also appear on that album. The first one below, "Comin' Back to Me," was written by Marty Balin. The second, "Today," was a Balin/Kantner collaboration, with lead guitar by Jerry Garcia.
