What a bizarre post-season it has been for the Big 10.
Three humiliating defeats:
Iowa was destroyed by Stanford (it was 35-0 at halftime in the Rose Bowl), Michigan State was shut out by Alabama, and the Northwestern guys should have stayed home with their families instead of flying to Tampa to take on Tennessee's defense. (Tennessee picked off four passes, including a 100-yard pick-six.)
And three tremendous victories:
Michigan thumped a pretty good SEC team (Florida) 41-7, Ohio State beat Notre Dame by two touchdowns, and Wisconsin beat a USC team that was considered a national title contender before Sark lost it and the coaching situation got crazy.
The tie-breaker is tomorrow, when Penn State takes on Georgia. My guess is that will not go well for Penn State.
