One crazy thing: 11-seed Gonzaga destroyed 3-seed Utah (82-59). It's hard to call it an upset when they slaughtered the other team, for their seventh consecutive win. Given that they had the same record as Virginia, and they are Gonzaga, why were they such a weak seed? For that matter, how the hell did they lose seven games this year when they have blown two NCAA teams off the court?

Anyway, their win guarantees that a double-digit seed will make the elite eight, since Gonzaga (11) will now play the winner of the game between Syracuse (10) and Middle Tennessee (15).

So far that one little corner of the bracket is the only place with any underdogs in position. The other teams to advance to the Sweet 16 so far are all 5-seeds or better.
