I told ya 'Nova was tough! Lesson from this game: practice your free throws and defense, kids, and you might beat the nation's #1 team. Villanova hit 18 for 19 from the stripe. They hit 11 more charity tosses than Kansas and had seven fewer turnovers. Two of the 'Nova steals came in the final minute, which seems like an excellent time to take the ball away.
OK, I nailed that one, but then again, I'm not right that often, am I? I sure called Gonzaga wrong yesterday.
Oklahoma looked mediocre in the first two rounds, but they really stepped it up against #3 A&M and #1 Oregon. Against Oregon, Buddy Hield hit eight treys on his way to 37 points, and Oklahoma never trailed from the opening basket to the final buzzer!
