Winners get an all-expenses-paid trip to Turkey!
OK, maybe not.
Erdogan, the president of Turkey, has become infamous for arresting people who criticize him. Most recently, he has insisted that a German comedian be prosecuted under a preposterous German statute (Section 103 of the German criminal code) forbidding citizens to ridicule a foreign head of state. (Yes, technically it would even be a crime to ridicule Putin!) The jokester faces a possible maximum sentence of five years.
In America, it is almost required for all citizens to ridicule foreign heads of state! If we had this law, we would have to essentially imprison everyone.
