Is this bizarre Kit Kat the worst flavoured chocolate bar of all time?
"The new Melon & Cheese-flavoured four-fingered snack is being sold at airports in Japan and, if successful, is expected to be rolled out further afield.
The 'Hokkaido Melon with Mascarpone Cheese’ chocolate-coated wafer biscuit bar - to give it its full title - is also being tested on sale alongside other Kit Kat flavours: 'Japanese Strawberry' and 'Uji Matcha', which is a type of tea."
The strawberry and matcha (green tea) kitkats are imported here for a huge markup and sell great. Wouldn't surprise me if this one is tasty as well. Marscapone can be sweet (think cannolli) and melon doesn't mean watermelon in Japan. Theirs are much sweeter and less, well, melony.
