Not many people remember it, but "bethonged booty" was Shakespeare's favorite phrase, although the Elizabethans pronounced "bethonged" with three syllables. Also forgotten by history: Beethoven pronounced it the same way, and made a famous misspelled reference to his immortal bethonged.
