The South Carolina women succeeded where the men failed

It was kind of anti-climactic, because South Carolina and Mississippi State had already met twice this year, with SC coming out on top both times, so they just made it 3-for-3.
It wasn't really that close. Whatever magic Mississippi State mustered to defeat U Conn had vanished. They shot 19-for-55 from the field, had eight shots blocked, and were out-rebounded 40-28.
That's the first national title for the Gamecocks.
Wait. Should't they be the Gamehens?
