NCAAF College Football Scores - Week 4

NCAAF College Football Scores - Week 4

It was a big week for TCU, as they crushed #6 Oklahoma State 44-31. The advanced to #11 on the new coaches' poll.

It was not a great week for the state of Oklahoma. In addition to State's loss, #3 OU struggled before emerging victorious against lowly, winless Baylor. (Baylor led 31-28 near the end of the third quarter.) OU gave up nearly 500 passing yards, including four TDs.

Georgia impressed the coaches with their 31-3 dominance of Mississippi State. That win propelled them into the top ten.

Florida State had been rated #12 on faith, having never won a game. (Their only effort had been a loss to 'Bama, and everybody loses to 'Bama.) Unfortunately, the faith seems to have been misplaced because they lost at home to NC State. That's the first road win for the Wolfpack over a ranked team since the Hoover administration. (OK, actually 2008.)

Previously undefeated Oregon lost a close one to Arizona State. Oregon had been quite low on the ranking totem pole (#24), so they'll disappear from the list.

Everything else went pretty much as expected.

RUTGERS WATCH: Unable to play Morgan State every week, Rutgers returned to its losing ways. Next week - (oh-oh) Ohio State!
