NFL Football Scores - week 5
Cam Newton was awesome for the second week in a row.
The Chiefs are 5-0.
Reader notes from the comment section: Sadly, while it is a win for the Chiefs, both they and the Texans lost big-time at personnel. (It should have been called "the injury game.") Chiefs TE Travis Kelcie suffered a concussion and did not play the second half; safety Steven Terrell suffered a concussion on the opening kickoff; WR Chris Conley ruptured his Achilles (likely out for the season). The Texans fared just as poorly - LB Whitney Mercilus injured his chest in the first quarter; safety Corey Moore suffered a concussion; but their worst loss was star DE J.J. Watt. He suffered a broken leg (specifically a tibial plateau fracture). He is out for the season.
