Needs much more Terrence Malick. Gotta have more Malick. He's the "cowbell" of pretension. The Tree of Life did place third, appropriately enough, but To the Wonder and Knight of Cups didn't even make the list. You guys think those were less pretentious than Scott Pilgrim? C'mon.
Needs Tarkovsky. Nobody is more pretentious than a pretentious northern European. He makes Godard seem as down-to-earth as Steve Stifler.
