Ex-Workers at the Russian ‘Troll Factory’ believe the charges in the indictment
I hate to take Putin's side of the issue, but I read that indictment, and it draws no connection between the offenses and Russian state policy. It charges Russian individuals and entities, but not the Russian government. Granted, the financier of the Troll Factory is a close friend of Putin, and it is unlikely that any such operation could function without Putin's knowledge and support, but those are all suppositions. Logical or not, they are not proof.
