Sources Say Cohen Financial Records Are Not Missing, Just Restricted
That's actually worse. The Treasury Department did not just hide the information from us, which would be understandable. They hid it from the district attorney in New York! And this would have to come from the very highest level in Treasury. In other words, it is possible that Mnuchin tried to hide all the details of Cohen's financial transactions. (Or maybe he was asked to by Mueller or somebody else. It's not clear at this point.)
