The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that local governments may seize people's homes and businesses -- even against their will -- for private economic development.

  2. Neal Boortz talks about this a lot. This erosion between well-laid out powers of immenant domain and handing the power of local government to those who make politcal contributions- it's not a good thing.

    Erm, lots of words, but I'm against it.

  3. Considering that wealthy people use more and better land per capita than poor people, city counselors should be targeting the Gates, Buffetts and Albrechts in their communities! I'm thinking that's not going to happen...
