He had a chance for the season-clincher on Wednesday, and blew it. Pitching simulated innings, he barely managed to react fast enough on a vicious liner up the middle. With a little luck, he will be injured soon enough to take this year's first place trophy away from Alicia Silverstone in the Ken Griffey Canasta League
