Daily Box Office for Friday-Saturday-Sunday

I'm linking to this only to demonstrate the trend in revenues for Twilight. It is axiomatic that fanboy pictures are heavily front-loaded, but the distaff parallel has never really been evident before, because there are so few fangirl pics - really only Harry Potter. Obviously, everything for Twilight was packed into Friday! It did end up with the best non-Potter November opening, but it barely did so, and may not even hold the record when the weekend estimates become official and real numbers.

Excluding Potter again, this year has produced three of the four best November openings in history.
