NASA says pollution control, nor pollution, is causing arctic warming!

Turns out we needed more aerosol sprays and sulfur emissions!

That's not the best part of it. The best part is that Chinese pollution is so excessive, and growing so rapidly, that it may stop global warming!

All joking aside, its kinda true. The logic behind it is that the global climate would have been going through a period of much greater warming, except that sulfate emissions caused an artificial cooling effect, expecially in the Arctic, and that slowed down the warming effect being generated elsewhere. In effect, the cooling effect of the aerosol emissions counter-balanced the warming effect of greenhouse gases. When the sulfate emissions were reduced, primarily from a movement away from coal, the artificial cooling effect was removed, the balance was tipped, and the climate resumed its warming path.
