It's been a while since the Harvard Lampoon created a parody novel. I was in college then. It was the brilliant Bored of the Rings by Henry Beard and the comedy legand Doug Kenney. Those two guys went on to create The National Lampoon, which was a great magazine during the five years that they ran it.
