No major surprises. Princess/Frog took the #1 spot with about $7m.Invictus bombed, despite having been directed by Dirty Harry and having starred Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman. It did finish third, but only because it was an extremely weak day. It appears that Invictus will finish with less than $10m for the weekend, compared to forecasts in the $13m range.
If trends hold, this will be the second consecutive week in which no new film topped $10m.
