Although the film seems to be set in modern times, it looks like a 1972 made-for-TV film, with an appropriate cast for that, and all the characters act as if it were still 1957, when US Steel was America's mighty industrial engine and a national rail line still seemed like a futuristic idea. I expected the announcer to say "A Quinn Martin Production." And where was Lloyd Bochner? Even if you are not a cynic, it's kinda hard to watch the trailer without snickering, if only at the old-fashioned dialogue.
