Two college teams put up 1714 yards of total offense

Two college teams (Div III) put up 1714 yards of total offense.

Including 628 in a single quarter!

"Hardin-Simmons and Sul Ross State both showed off their high powered offenses and set a NCAA record for most yards between two teams in a collegiate football game with 1,714 yards as HSU won 86-42 on Saturday afternoon at Shelton Stadium."

The winning team also set the Div III single-team record for most yards in a game - 914.

And - get this - the losing team played this game without the injured Dominique Carson, who is the nation's leader in all-purpose yardage!
