Rick Pitino is the only coach in history to win a national championship at two different Division I universities (Kentucky and Louisville).
He has actually coached three different schools to Final Four appearances, but his Providence team didn't take it all.
He had somewhat less luck in the NBA, where he finished his career by coaching the Celtics to four consecutive losing seasons, leaving the building in the middle of the fourth, whereupon the team improved significantly (12-22 under Pitino, 24-24 after he left, 49-33 the following year).
