New Movies In Theaters September 13th - Rotten Tomatoes
There are two new films in wide release this weekend.

Insidious: Chapter 2. I guess you can probably figure out what that is. Key facts: PG-13; 50% positive reviews; 2900 theaters.

The Family is a action comedy. The blurb: "In the off-beat "The Family," a mafia boss and his family are relocated to a sleepy town in France under the witness protection program after snitching on the mob. Despite the best efforts of Agent Stansfield (Tommy Lee Jones) to keep them in line, Fred Manzoni (Robert DeNiro), his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer) and their children Belle (Dianna Agron) and Warren (John D'Leo) can't help but revert to old habits and blow their cover by handling their problems the "family" way, enabling their former mafia cronies to track them down. Chaos ensues as old scores are settled in the unlikeliest of settings in this darkly funny film by Luc Besson." Key facts: Rated R, but not for nudity; 33% positive reviews; 2800 theaters.
Box office:

Insidious 2 is expected to win the weekend with a gross in the low 20s. The Family is expected to finish second, but a distant second with low double figures.
