The study's take on this is that you should not hype fruits and vegetables in this way, but my take is different. If the conclusion is legitimate and has been stated correctly, you should tell your kids to gobble down those Pop-Tarts and Oreos so they can get big and strong.
Using the same logic, I think Lenin had the wrong idea on getting rid of religion. If you want people to stop being religious, don't ban religion. Instead, eliminate the line between church and state and make people aware that their tax dollars are going to support churches. Then march their asses to church every morning at 6 AM, under penalty of law. Give it a generation, and everyone will either be an atheist, or will pay lip service to religion but completely ignore it.
Norway, for example, has an official state church, and 75% of its citizens are theoretically members (down from 97% in 1960), yet the churches are always deserted, every guy I met there was utterly non-religious, and a recent poll conducted by Gallup International in 65 countries found that Norway was the least religious among the Western countries.

Don't tell kids why veggies are good for them, study suggests
"A recent study led by Dr. Ayelet Fishbach of the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business indicates that children who are told certain foods will make them stronger, smarter or taller are less likely to want to eat them."
