I was going to say "disingenuous" instead of "naive," but the tone of the article convinced me that the author is not simply pretending to be dim.

Reddit has about a zillion threads going at any given time. When you close one, the participants just regroup at another one. It's a form of internet whack-a-mole. This allows Reddit's high sheriffs to maintain a facade of walking the moral high ground while the actual Reddit community is crawling through the swamp of moral decay with the rest of us.
