The Bengals and Texans will watch the Super Bowl at home

The Bengals, Texans, Vikings and Washington will watch the Super Bowl at home

Wow. The Chiefs are lookin' mighty tough right now for a team that started 1-5. The last game they lost was October 18! I can't even remember that long ago. The next one will not be easy - the Pats in Foxboro, with the Pats favored by 5 in the opening line.

I watched a bit of that Minnesota/Seattle game. The Vikings really need to get into that new covered stadium. That game had kind of an exciting finish - well, anyway, it was a 1-point game - but the game essentially consisted of neither team having the slightest bit of offense. I'm going to guess that it's not easy to pass and catch a ball when the wind chill is below -20.

Other lines for next week: Carolina by 3, Denver by 5 1/2, Arizona by 7 /12. The Pack just played on Christmas weekend in Arizona, and the Cards won 38-8.
