Google Brain super-resolution image tech makes “zoom, enhance!” real

"Google Brain has devised some new software that can create detailed images from tiny, pixelated source images. Google's software, in short, basically means the 'zoom in... now enhance!' TV trope is actually possible."

(Sidebar: In the traditional use of the word "trope," as the term was used in the dark days of my own school years, that isn't one. It's a "cliche." A trope is a figurative or metaphorical use of a word or expression. Naturally, the formerly incorrect use of the word is now, more or less, correct, because that's how languages change. For example, when my parents were in school, saying "I'm 'anxious' to go" instead of "eager" would elicit a rap on the knuckles from some martinet schoolteachers. Now the use of "anxious" to mean "earnestly desirous" is commonly accepted without question.)
