I'm thinkin' it just might be time to drag out my long-buried musical drama version of Strindberg's Dance of Death, which is still listed in the Guinness Book of records as the only concept ever deemed "too pretentious" by Stephen Sondheim. Maybe I can sneak it past Sondheim if I rework it as a comedy.
