WIRED points out quite correctly that Ted Stevens's bill would NOT ban Wikipedia from classrooms

That accusation was total nonsense, even though it was spread through the blogosphere as truth. On the other hand, the bill could bann Digg, Reddit, Fark, and other similar sites which are commercial in nature and have social networking capabilities which allow visitors to communicate with other visitors. (Other Crap would also qualify under the old format, back when when we had user comments, and would qualify if we start up the comments again, which can be done with one checkbox on the Blogger software.)
