After I read this and watched a few minutes of CNN yesterday, I wondered who is abusing the daughter more.I concluded that the others make Baldwin seem to be merely an intemperate ass.
- Baldwin, who talked to her like this.
- Basinger, who released it to the media and used her daughter as a pawn in her ongoing battle with Baldwin.
- Anderson Cooper and the other media figures, who kept playing it over and over again, subjecting the girl to endless humiliation.

Well he couldn't very well just admit he was an asshole, could he? He's Alec Baldwin for heaven's sake, and he is well aware of the evil which lurks in the hearts of men. Cue maniacle laughter.
