"The Spice Girls were the victims of a bogus email yesterday which claimed they had cancelled a tour date in South America due to the level of demand in Britain and the US."So what exactly is false about the e-mail. Did they NOT pull out of the Argentina date? Or did they pull out, but for a different reason?
The answer is NEITHER: "The reformed girl group were forced to issue a statement denying the cancellation - although they confirmed high demand has meant the show has to be postponed."
Huh?
Or, to put it another way, they did cancel that date, and they did do so because of high demand elsewhere. The only thing false about the e-mail hoax is that did not come from them. But it should have! It did inform their fans accurately, which they themselves should have done. But they didn't do it because ... um ... why, obviously because ... er ... they would never tell their fans the truth! Yeah, that's the ticket. So you know they didn't write it.
